Q. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TEST MY POOL OR SPA WATER?
A.
Every other day during the summer for your pool.  Spa water should be tested 3-4  times a week.

Q. MY POOL IS GREEN, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
A.
 First of all, test the water.   Simply bring a sample of water to us in a clean container and we will test it right then and there! You can purchase whatever chems are needed and add them to your pool.  Be sure to run your filter, 24/7, until the pool is clear.

Q. HOW DO I KNOW WHAT CHEMICALS SHOULD BE ADDED (TO  POOL OR SPA) AND HOW MUCH TO ADD?

Q. HOW LONG SHOULD I RUN THE FILTER?
A.
 Until the pool is clear, run the filter 24/7.  Once your pool is crystal clear, you can help to keep it that way by running the filter 8 – 10 hours a day.

Q. IS IT OKAY TO DRAIN MY SPA AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD IT BE  DONE?
A. Yes, it is okay to drain your spa.  Four times a year – in the spring, summer, fall,  and winter is a good guideline.Pool & Spa Service offers a drain, clean and fill program which will save you the trouble.  Call our office for a price quote and to set up an  appointment.

Q. DO YOU SERVICE SWIMMING POOLS?
A. We service in-ground and above ground swimming pools.  We provide weekly  and bi-weekly maintenance service throughout the swim season. Call our office  for complete details.


Q. DO YOU REPAIR EQUIPMENT?
A.
 Our knowledgeable technicians are available to assist you in repairing heaters,  filters, pool cleaners or any other equipment you may have. 


Q. I AM LOSING WATER IN MY POOL.  WHAT CAN BE CAUSING IT?
A.
 It can be a number of things from a simple hole in the liner that can be patched to  a leak in the pool’s plumbing.  Our technicians are trained in pressure testing and  electronic leak detection.  We will find the cause of the problem, advise you of  the repair, and will be able to make the necessary repair upon your request.


Q. I AM MOVING INTO A NEW HOUSE THAT HAS A POOL AND  WOULD LIKE TO MAKE SURE IT IS IN GOOD WORKING  CONDITION.  WHAT CAN I DO?

Q. CAN YOU REPLACE POOL LINERS?
A
. Yes.  We use one of the best liners on the market manufactured by Merlin.  Liners  come in a variety of colors and patterns.  Samples are available in our showroom. New liner estimates are free, simply give us a call to arrange for an appointment.   (Some estimates may be given over the telephone for standard-sized pools.)


Q. DO YOU WINTERIZE POOLS & SPAS?
A
. Yes.  We add the winterizing chemicals (pools), take apart and clean DE filters, blow out the lines, winterize  heaters, cover the pool, and store your equipment where you specify.  Spas can be drained, cleaned, and filled for winter use.


Q. WHAT KIND OF COVERS CAN YOU SUPPLY?
A.
 We can supply poly covers which are used with waterbags, DuraMesh safety  covers (standard) or SmartMesh safety covers (recommended; does not let light  or debris get into the pool).  We also have covers available for hot tubs/spas.  We  will come out to measure your pool free of charge and provide you with a free estimate for a new cover (safety covers only; poly covers are available in standard sizes).


Q. I HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN, WHERE CAN I GET A SAFETY FENCE  FOR AROUND THE POOL?

Pool & Spa Service installs Baby Guard Safety Fence and can provide you with a  free estimate on the cost of a standard fence (black with black posts) or deluxe  fence (several colors available with posts to match).  Call us at
